PAUL RUX, PH.D.
Dr. Paul Rux and his wife, Jane, live in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. It is twenty-one miles from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

They have four grown children and three grandchildren.
EDUCATION
Dr. Rux earned three degrees from the University of Wisconsin - Madison: Ph.D. in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies, M.A.L.S in Library Science & Information Studies, and B.A. in History.
The title of his Ph.D. dissertation is Benchmarking Total Quality Management Databases for Higher Education.
Dr. Rux was a Graduate Fellow at the University of Toronto and earned a M.A. in Educational Theory there.
He was a Special One-Year Student in the Honours School of History and Political Science of the University of Dublin.

Dr. Rux has won awards from the Wisconsin State Senate, Governor of Wisconsin, and Wisconsin State Telecommunications Association for his imaginative information technology planning work.
The Wisconsin State Public Service Commission appointed Dr. Rux to its Universal Service Fund Council, 1996-2004. The Council awards over $6 million yearly in statewide telecommunication equity grants.
Dr. Rux has served as a judge and planner for the Wisconsin Business Ethics Award sponsored by the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
Dr. Rux is a member of the State Leadership Council of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). He is also a state judge for its annual $1,000 scholarship awards for youth entrepreneurs.
Dr. Rux has presented national and state convention workshops for groups like the International Engineering Consortium, Association of Institutional Researchers of the Upper Midwest, World Future Society, and Wisconsin Association of Meeting Planners.
Dr. Rux has also presented workshops for colleges and universities like Dominican University, River Forest, Illinois, and the University of Wisconsin - Platteville.

Dr. Rux has designed and taught graduate and undergraduate courses and curriculum - onsite and online - on Management and Information Technology for Marquette University, Lakeland College Online, Keller Graduate School of Management, Silver Lake College, Upper Iowa University, Concordia University Wisconsin, and TUI University.
Dr. Rux's teaching focus now is at the doctoral level.
He teaches research methods to online Doctor of Business Administration students for Jones International University.
He teaches research methods to online Doctor of Philosophy students for Northcentral University.

Dr. Rux is a Professional Member of the World Future Society. Its members are experts in strategic foresight and trend forecasting. In 2009, Dr. Rux studied with Dr. Peter Bishop, founder and director of the graduate Future Studies program at the University of Houston.
